This is a simple stage. 3 platforms and a main area. In Melee It was used to fight wire frames and had an odd background, but this is a better setting. It starts in day, then evening, then night, then dawn. Lots of stages change after a while, either looks or the actual stage.
Delfino Plaza
Finally a super mario sunshine stage! This is a very beautiful island full of happy islanders called Piantas and Nokis. You'll start on a platform flying obove the isle, and you'll land in different areas of the plaza!
Yoshi's Island
Ahhh... the peaceful Yoshi's Island! Fly guys will appear often. The support ghost will aid players when needed by catching them. The best part is the season changes, spring, summer, fall, and winter!
Lylat Cruise
The ship, Pleiades, will take you through the Lylat system. You'll fly through asteroid fields, dogfights, and even the atmosphere of Corneria!
Bridge of Eldin
A very flat terrain from Twighlight Princess. The only change that happens is King Bulbo and Lord Bulbin come and drop bombs that explode a chunk of the stage, and it'll come back via the portal.
Smashville
An Animal Crossing stage recognizable by Animal Crossing fans. It turns out that everyone in town came to see the brawl! And if you play on Saturday at 8pm, K.K. will have a live performance!
Rumble Falls
This Donkey Kong stage is in front of a waterfall. It scrolls upward. The top of the waterfall isn't the top! Keep going!
Skyworld
Pit's home turf: Skyworld! In the background, you can see the temple. You can also break the platforms!
Castle Siege
This isn't any particular battle or castle, but it's still a Fire Emblem stage. After a while you'll fall into the castle where you can break the statues. Eventually, you'll fall into the underground, which you'll have to see for yourself!
WarioWare
This stage is supposed to be like the games, there are minigame like stages. The main area is the one with the pig elevator in the background.
Pokemon Stadium 2
This is the pokemon stage. Only this time, instead of just the stage changing, pokemon will appear. On the ground arena, a mound of earth appears in the middle of the stage, on the Ice stage, things get slippery, and on the Flying stage, everyones jumping power increases!
Battleship Halberd
Metaknight's battleship: the Halberd! The platform follows the battleship around and eventually lands on the ship's deck. A double-barreled battery with and arm in the back will fire lasers, missiles, and attack with it's arm.
Shadow Moses Island
Shadow Moses Island is like a hideout. This is the stage Snake talks to his buddies for info on opponents. You can break the side walls, and when the spotlight shines on you, a ! will appear. Metal Gears will also appear! Like Metal Gear Rex and Metal Gear Ray!
New Pork City
This is the Mother stage. The buildings in the background are like billboards? This is a very large stage. There is also a monster called the "Ultimate Chimera" which can grab and launch you off screen with it's mighty power! You can't stop it, so RUN AWAY!!!
Pictochat
Pictochat!? Woah! It's a feature on the Nintendo DS that lets you chat with others. Here, doodles will become real. You can burn in fire, ride a trolley, get zapped by lightning, get blown away by wind, and of course climb the doodles! This stage makes a very great addition to the list.
The Summit
The summit of Icicle Mountain has vegetables?! Eventually, this Ice Climber stage wil crack and slide down the side of the Icicle Mountain into the water. If that's not enough, a Polar Bear will be knocking it deeper and deeper while giant man-eating eel-like fish leap out.
