The greatest item in smash history, even though it's only in this game out of all 3 super smash bros. Basically, you have to smash it to use a final smash, not grab it. A final smash is the strongest move you can do! Try it!

The tool for catching pokemon, the pokeball! In smash, you throw it and out comes a random pokemon! Legendary or not, they'll help in some way! I'll list them out when more are announced, for now, I'll just list the already announced.

Once it comes out it uses razor leaf to attack foes in a strait line.

A huge legendary pokemon that's hooooooot hot hot yeeeooooowwwwwtttccchhh!!! THAT'S HOT! He stands there and lets your opponents burn!

Munchlax is the pre-evolutionary form of Snorlax. It's sort of a pig, or should I say hog? He spots an item and eats it.

A water type Pokemon that Professer Rowan gives you in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Once it pops out it uses Surf to knock opponents off the stage with it. The simpler the stage, the better the attack!

A cat like Normal type Pokemon that appeared on the first super smash bros, but not melee. Basically it uses Pay Day, a move where the user launches painful coins at the opponent. The coin on it's head is called a Charm, which is attached to Meowth, so it can't be launched.

This Pokeball shaped Pokemon that explodes. This will even attack the user! This picture shows it failing to explode, though.

The classic crates and barrels are back! You can break them by attacking them or picking them up and throwing them, and then a schmorgashborg(I know that's not how you spell it, but oh well) of items pop out! Originally, they're wooden, but on different stages they change their look. On Sci-Fi stages, they have a futuristic tone. On happy, wonderful stages, they're presents. There's also "sliding boxes." As soon as you think you're gonna get the prize in every box, whooossshhh! It rolls away!

The most classic prank ever is in battle?! The banana peel is to be picked up, thrown, then tripped on. Nuff said.

This item, the Assist Trophy, is like a character summoner. It can summon characters to your aid that aren't on the character roster! You can't control who comes out, so it's like a pokeball without the pokemon, but they do kick butt! You'll be suprised at who comes to your aid!

An armored Koopa with hammers. He launches them at your foes to knock them away.

Yes, Nintendog is an assist trophy. He paws at the screen for your attention. It blocks everyone's view, but he's so cute, he calms your nerves.

At last, Samurai Goroh stands on the battlegrounds of Smash! He's Captain Falcon's rival who wears #5. He cuts away at enemies! Just cut cut cut cut cut cut!

Dr. Wright!? He's the mayor from the classic SNES game SimCity! What he does is he raises scyscrapers from the ground to attack opponents. Now THAT'S city building!

The hard hitter of Dreamland: Knuckle Joe! He trains real hard, and sends a storm of Vulcan Jabs at opponents. He finishes with either the Smash Punch or the Rising Break.

The devil from Devil World appears! This wasn't a game in the United States, though. Basically, he flies to some point of the stage and points his fingers. Then, the screen scrolls around. It makes it harder to stay on screen with little platform and all.
